How it works

In Germany, most people will get on average 1.051€ back from taxes. To see a first estimation about it you only have to answer a few questions about your work, family status, and education costs. The Estimator will calculate a potential refund based on your data.

The Estimator calculates the difference between your income and the taxes you have paid. It will give you a rough idea if you will get money back from Finanzamt, or if you have to pay them. You can comfortably follow the “taxfix” link and secure a bonus before you actually file your taxes.
